Home Loan transfer to SBI

Hello Karthik,

I came to know you were trying for me regarding the loan transfer. Also, on the blog there are querries abt the loan transfer process. Anyways here I am to convey you that I have transfered my home loan from ICICI to SBI. As you have already said the documents required from the bank and the borrower i wont discuss abt it. But yes, for me the bank (SBI CV Raman Nagar) asked for interim gurantor i.e. when the loan is sanctioned and a draft is issued the bank needs to have a gurantor as they would be receiving the documents from the bank on a later date. I should also mention abt the financial evaluation of the flat and the documents needs to be done by the persons nominated by SBI. Also, I had to approach the RACPC office of SBI Main Branch as they would call you over there for the later formalities like issue of DD and submission of bank documents.
